Mood Food: The Mood Food Series is a collaborative set of workshops with my colleague and friend Brooke Wilson, NC focusing on how to support your moods; the good, the “bad" and everything in between, through nutrition and lifestyle. Mood Food is about food, nutrition, and lifestyle habits for supporting mental health and wellness.
The focus of the Mood Food Series : Summer Desserts is how to cultivate joy through our food, to be free from restriction and enjoy sweet treats while supporting a healthy mood. Brooke & Megan will demo 4 of their favorite Seasonal Summer Desserts, with pro tips on how to make the recipes your own. We will highlight the health benefits of seasonal ingredients, while discussing the link between blood sugar and mood balance. Great for those working to balance hormones and blood sugar, support immune health and digestion, and reduce stress.
