SUSTAINABLE KITCHEN: Soaking & Sprouting 101

Embrace a new Sustainable Kitchen Project and learn the simple steps of soaking and spouting legumes, grains, nuts and seeds. Soaking and sprouting yourself is an easy, budget friendly way to boost the nutritional value of your diet. As a bonus, Megan will demonstrate how to grow your own microgreens. Microgreens like cabbage and cilantro can have up to 40% more phytonutrient concentration than their mature counterparts. Growing your own sprouts and microgreens cuts down on packaging and food waste, making it a wonderful sustainable kitchen skill to master. Soaking and Sprouting Guide with Recipes included.
